Young the Giant

It’s official. Next Big Nashville’s SoundLand Music Festival has confirmed the date for Oct. 6 this year.

New for 2012, the event will now be an all out one-day blowout at The Lawn at Riverfront Park in Downtown Nashville, whereas before it was stretched across several different venues on multiple nights.

My Morning Jacket is on the bill and will hold down the top honor of headlining the festival with other acts such as Young the Giant, Divine Fits and JD McPherson.

Rounding out the rest of the lineup this year are Jonny Corndawg, Kopecky Family Band, The Weeks, Night Beds, Wild Cub, Kansas Bible Company, Mystery Twins, Nikki Lane and PUJOL.

With art and food also a central focus of the experience, look for more updates in the near future.
